ARABIAN CHALLENGE - Amateur Golf Tournament

An exciting event will see the Arabian Challenge being played at Arabian Ranches Golf Club. A desert style grass course, a signature course designed by Ian Baker-Finch in association with Nicklaus Design in 2004. Spanning on 247 Acres of which 120 Acres are irrigated, the course is Par 72. A challenge for golfers of all abilities, miss the immaculate grass of the fairways and greens and you enter the 'sandy waste', which makes the most of the natural terrain with its indigenous shrubs and bushes. 9:30 AM: First Group of Participants Tee-Off for Final Round
12:30 PM: Second Group of Participants Tee-Off for Final Round
20:00 PM: Presentation Night with Dinner and Dance.

*All Participants will be given a single room.
**If participants want to bring a partner/non-golfer a double room will be allocated for additional price of 350 GBP. This price also includes Dhow Cruise and Presentation Night Dinner for Non-Golfer.
**Entry to the tournament is on first come first serve basis.
The event is a 54 hole individual Stableford competition, and the player with the highest total score after 3 rounds will be declared the winner.
Entry Fee Include 4 Star luxury Accommodation with Breakfast, Dhow Cruise with Dinner, Presentation Dinner and transportation for Golf Transfers every day and transportation for Dhow Cruise and for Presentation Dinner as well for all Individual Participants.
As well as prizes for overall individual scores, there will also be daily prizes, a team competition, and our unique ‘Par 3 Challenge’.
Prizes will be presented at the Presentation Dinner on 26th Sept 2017 which will be the last day of the tournament.
The event organisers reserve the right to amend the format of the competition should the number of entrants or weather conditions dictate.
All entrants must be amateurs and members of recognised golf clubs, and hold an active or competitive handicap.
CDH numbers or handicap certificates must be provided before the start of the event.
Entrants must be over the age of 18 on the date of the first round.
Maximum handicap allowance is 24 for men and 34 for ladies – full handicap allowance is given.
For the Team Competition. Each team will comprise 4 golfers, of which the best 3 scores each day will count.
A draw will be produced for each days play over the first three rounds, while the last day will see the Top 30 play in reverse leaderboard order at the back of the field.
Should any entrant wish to withdraw from the event, a full refund (less any charges incurred) will be guaranteed up until 15th August 2017. Withdrawals after this date will receive 50% of their entry fee, unless a replacement can be found.
